Despite its rural setting, the property is just an hour's drive from Málaga airport. The white mountain village of Canillas de Albaida is less than 5 minutes' drive away, but you can also get there via a lovely walking route of about 20 minutes. There are a number of supermarkets and restaurants/cafés with terraces here. The larger village of Cómpeta is a 10-minute drive away and in 35 minutes you can already reach one of the nice beaches on the Costa del Sol. Hotel The property's history dates back to 1805 when it functioned as an olive mill. In 2002, the current owners transformed the property into this authentic and very charming hotel equipped with all modern conveniences. The hotel has a hotel licence offering 14 spacious air-conditioned guest rooms with en-suite bathrooms. All rooms have their own style and feature a private terrace or French balcony. In total, there are 28 - 30 beds. For the owners, there is a spacious self-contained flat with fantastic panoramic views. In the common area there is a welcoming reception area, a bar with seating area, a library and a large dining area that you really have to see for yourself. The industrial kitchen is fully equipped. On the beautifully landscaped plot is a large studio currently used for group activities such as yoga and painting. Plot The plot with their Mediterranean gardens are framed by great views and have several terraces, courtyards, olive trees, walking paths, too many to mention. There is even a treehouse for the youngsters among us. The swimming pool is centrally located and measures 9.5m x 4.5m. Around the pool are sun loungers with parasols for anyone in the mood for a relaxing day under the Andalusian sun. Business The hotel offers mainly group holidays, but free rooms are available for B&B stays. Thanks to this flexible approach, there is consistently an 85% occupancy rate. The hotel is registered with the Málaga tourist board. All local licences are available. The business is profitable. Annual figures are available. Staff: 5 full-time core staff. 1 Gardener. In addition, a number of part-timers are employed from April to October. The atmosphere at the property is very pleasant and cannot be put into words.
